Blue tit silk shading.

I am at home for Christmas I have taken a few photos of old work to share. This little blue tit was a present for my mum about 15years ago. I think it took about three days to complete. All worked in stranded cottons except the branch which was painted. Not the best photo as it is through glass but I thought it worth posting.

  3. What beautiful silk shading. Your brooches are lovely too. I have only recently found your blog, am enjoying going through past posts and hoping there will be more in the future. I love embroidery and wondered if you would like to have a look at my blog http://www.addisonembroideryatthevicarage.co.uk.

    1. Dear Mary, thank you for your comments, it's what makes writing this blog worthwhile !! I have lots to put up on the blog I just need to find time to sit and do it. I have checked out yours. I love the mix of cooking and stitching. I especially like the historical altar frontals. Great photos . I hope you manage to find out more information. Best wishes Margaret.
